Prince of Persia died with The Forgotten Sands. I've never seen a sequel that had so many elements taken away from it that made the Sands trilogy so great. It really was a sad attempt at trying to be more like God of War. For this reason I don't really see them even daring to work on another POP. If they do they should try to not just rush it because a movie is coming out (though, the movie was rather good).

I know it's a lot different than the POP game you're talking about, but it seems platformers aren't that popular this gen(idk why). Plus, Assassin's Creed is basically what Prince of Persia turned into, which coincidentally has some good platforming sections in it. Prince of Persia died with The Forgotten Sands.
